Preachables: Focusing prayer on Nepal

UNENGAGED PEOPLES OF SOUTH ASIA. Nearly 1.6 million Bhojpuri-speaking Biharis live in the Terai plains of western Nepal. Christians have planted many churches among Bhojpuri speakers nearby in India’s Uttar Pradesh and Bihar states. Please pray that God will call Bhojpuri believers from India to take His gospel to the lost Bhojpuri-speaking Biharis of western Nepal.

Many of the Biharis in Nepal are poor and nonliterate and need to hear an oral witness for Jesus. Pray that Christians will plant reproducing Bhojpuri-speaking churches in Nepal just as they have in India. Pray that God will cause a church-planting movement to blossom among Bhojpuri-speaking Biharis living in western Nepal. Pray that all peoples in Nepal will have opportunity to find salvation through Jesus and that the knowledge of God’s glory will cover this small Hindu kingdom. www.neglectedfields.net
