Sheila* thinks of herself as a mall shopper rather than a mountain climber. But for the sake of the gospel, she recently found herself hiking up and down mountains in order to find a concentration of a particular Unreached People Group. Shortly after Sheila and her ministry partner arrived in one village, they received an invitation to eat supper and spend the night in a home there. They breathed a prayer of thanksgiving, knowing that without a hotel or other public facility anywhere nearby, the night might otherwise be long and uncomfortable. Their hosts -- the village doctor and his wife -- told them about their two daughters who live in a nearby city. Since then, Sheila has led one of those daughters to Christ. She rejoices that the doctor's daughter is now able to take the gospel back to her own village. As for the self-described mall shopper, she is now headed to other remote villages that have no one to tell them about Jesus.
