BIHARI MUSLIMS OF INDIA (bee-HAR-ree). "Philip" longs to see India’s 17 million Bihari Muslims follow Jesus. In January, Philip visited a Muslim woman in Delhi the day after her sister had died. Philip writes: “We consoled her and shared the gospel. She is always very receptive. She often invites us for prayer at the time of trouble or unrest.” The woman, M.A., has not yet accepted Jesus as Savior, however, because “she is used to going to the mosque.” Philip writes that others also feel as M.A. does. “We need to start a jamaat (church) that is close to their house and within their reach.” Please pray that the Lord will provide Philip with all the resources needed to start such a jamaat. Pray for the salvation of M.A. and others like her. About a third of Delhi’s Muslims are Biharis.
