BIHARI MUSLIMS OF BANGLADESH (bee-HAR-ree). Last month we told you that “Korim” (pseudonym), a former Bihari Muslim, had died and gone to be with Jesus. Korim left behind a wife and adult children. When Korim had become a believer during the turbulent 1980s, “Roshen” (pseudonym) threatened to divorce him. However, when Korim, because of community pressure and persecution, agreed to follow Jesus in secret, Roshen decided to stay with her husband. During the years that have followed, Roshen has read Korim’s Bible many times; however, she still has yet to place her faith in Isa al Masih (Arabic for Jesus the Messiah) as Korim did.
