I know now that we must worship the one and only true God.” That was the message written on a card given by a Chinese student to an American volunteer who had spent two weeks in China sharing Christ. Early in his visit, the young American had received a tiny Buddha figurine from the Chinese student. But after the visitor told the student about the Savior’s love, the student realized that the statuette of a “god” really hadn’t been a very good gift selection at all. In light of his new awareness of the one and only true God, he felt that an apology was in order.
