Preachables China 14:

CHINA. "How much does the prayer cost?" The Christians were shocked by the question of a broken, hurting lady for whom they had just prayed. But she too registered shock when they replied, "Nothing. It's free." Amazed, she explained that shortly after her husband had deserted her for another woman, local shaman* had come and prayed for her. But they had asked for large sums of money in return. The believers listened with sadness and then
began to tell her about a pure and powerful love that had cost Jesus His life, but was being freely offered to her.
*A person believed to be able to make contact with the spirit world.
