For
most of our existence since 1980, Medical Missionaries and
Volunteer Medical Groups have asked Adams & Associates
International to provide Medical Professional Liability for
you while you were overseas. We have encountered roadblocks
to being able to provide this coverage for you, including
very high minimum premiums, limited coverage and lack of availability
in many locations.
We
understand that you do not feel the need to be protected against
lawsuits or claims of professional negligence from those you
are treating. Your concern has been the chance encounter with
persons on an airplane, at an airport, those who may come
to the clinic where you are working or even personnel on your
own team. We have become aware of an arrangement that will
protect you in these circumstances.
While
we are not able to directly provide this coverage for you,
we have located what we believe to be a reliable provider
of this coverage for both short term and career medical missionaries
and related medical personnel. Like the travel insurance you
currently obtain through Adams & Associates International,
you receive benefits by participating in a trust.

VOLUNTEER
GROUPS & INDIVIDUALS
If
you are eligible for participation in the Trust, coverage
will be provided for you during short term projects outside
the United States. This coverage is priced on a per diem basis
ranging from $4.35 to $8.75 per day, depending upon your medical
specialty. Specific pricing or quotes are available on the
Trust’s website. Individuals affiliated with
non profit and charitable organizations may participate. Groups
of individuals sponsored by these organizations may also participate.
The participation process is very simple and is accomplished
via the International Helpers website. Physicians, Surgeons,
Nurses and various Medical Technicians may participate.
GROUPS
& INDIVIDUALS PERMANENTLY STATIONED ABROAD
Individual
Physicians, Surgeons, Nurses and various Medical Technicians
or Groups of these persons stationed abroad for long
periods may participate on an annual participation arrangement.
This coverage will range in cost from $700 to $1,800 per year,
depending upon the medical specialty. Specific pricing or
quotes are available on the Trust’s Web site.

YOU IN UNDERSTANDING THIS PROGRAM, WE ARE NOT SOLICITING YOUR
PARTICIPATION IN THE INTERNATIONAL HELPERS TRUST. THIS TRUST
IS LOCATED IN GUERNSEY. IT IS NOT AUTHORIZED TO SOLICIT BUSINESS
IN THE UNITED STATES AND IS NOT SUBJECT TO REGULATION WITHIN
THE UNITED STATES. THE COVERAGE PROVIDED BY THE TRUST IS ONLY
APPLICABLE WHILE YOU ARE OUTSIDE THE TERRITORIAL BOUNDARIES
OF THE UNITED STATES. TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS TRUST, IT IS
