Preachables India:

Tsunami result may be suicide

For many Indians, the only way they know to respond to failure and despair is suicide. Students commit suicide when their grades come in lower than their parents' expectations. Young women commit suicide when a marriage does not work out. And farmers commit suicide when their crops do not produce. Indians affected by the Dec. 26 tsunami already have commented to reporters that they have nothing for which to live. Pray that God would strengthen these hurting people and keep them from suicide. Pray that His ambassadors would introduce them to Jesus, the Author of life and hope.
