Befriending Nepalis in Iraq

Nepal is a small Hindu kingdom east of India, and most Nepalis follow the Hindu religion. Nepali young men and women often go abroad to earn their livings, and they sometimes end up working in predominantly Muslim countries, usually doing jobs that local residents do not want to do. That is how a group of Nepalis ended up working in an American fast food restaurant in Iraq, according to new reports. These Nepalis are far from home and far from anything familiar.

Please pray that American Christians living and serving in Iraq will take notice and befriend the Nepalis in Iraq. Acknowledging that God’s ways are higher than our ways, pray that these Nepalis would find salvation through Jesus in the middle of the Muslim country of Iraq and that God will be glorified. www.imb.org/southasia
