Prayer lifts burden from beggars

One recent afternoon, a group of believers attending an Acts 29 church-planting movement training in India went out to prayerwalk in the surrounding community. A few of the believers sat down next to some Muslim beggars who were soliciting alms in front of a mosque. The believers asked the beggars for their permission to pray aloud for them. One Last Frontier worker from the group writes: "The beggars began to cry, saying that no one had ever done that for them." After the believers prayed, the beggars immediately said that they felt that their burdens had been lifted. India is home to thousands just like these lonely beggars. A little attention and a simple prayer of faith can speak volumes to a downtrodden soul. Pray that more believers will have eyes to see those in need of Jesus' love. www.neglectedfields.net
