Intercession needed for schoolchildren

International news agencies reported that about 90 schoolchildren were killed in a fire this summer in southern India when they were unable to escape their school's burning building. Several others who did get out of the building were badly injured by fire and smoke inhalation. Please ask God to comfort the families of those who lost children and to heal those children who still are suffering physically and emotionally. School buildings in many South Asia countries are not required to meet the same safety codes as some western countries. Pray that in all ways schoolchildren in South Asia will find their schools safe places to be. Please also pray for the education and well-being of the many South Asian children who do not attend school because of poverty, poor health or neglect. www.imb.org/southasia
