Learning how to witness to Muslims

A local missions organization reports that in 2003 they trained about 100 church planters to share the gospel with Muslims. Many Christian believers, even evangelists and church planters, are reluctant to reach out to Muslims, because they believe they are resistant and hostile to the gospel. However, most Muslims simply have not heard the gospel.

Gracious gifts from two Baptist churches in Southeast Asia helped the local organization conduct the training workshops. Give thanks to God for the generosity of these churches and for those who were willing to come learn more about how to witness to Muslims. Pray that those who were trained will use their training to lead many Bihari Muslims to faith in Jesus. Pray that even more church planters will be trained to reach out to Bihari Muslims during 2004. About 12.5 million Muslims live in Bihar and Jharkhand states, and there are 17 million Bihari Muslims nationwide. www.peopleteams.org/biharimuslims/
